A new ABBA show
We haven't heard from ABBA for too long. Still, there isn't any reason to be worried as something great is going to happen soon. We had to wait a long time for it, but it is coming: A new ABBA-show! We haven't seen Agnetha, Björn, Benny and Annifrid much in the media after the 'Super Trouper' album. However, recently they invited the famous American tv-personality Dick Cavett to Stockholm to do a show together. Cavett was enthusiastic. After hundreds of interviews with superstars like John Lennon, Olivia Newton-John and American president Reagan, it was about time to question the four Swedes.
It immediately clicked between Cavett and the four Swedes. "Agnetha, Björn, Benny and Annifrid are very nice people", says Dick. "They are not conceited at all and we laughed a lot". Though, I was a little worried about the relationship between the two former couples. First married and now divorced. That gives problems. I must say that it wasn't as negative as I had expected. They are still good friends and go through fire and water for each other if they have to. I'm certain about that".
Agnetha, Björn, Benny and Annifrid too were very content about Dick Cavett. "That man eases you and doesn't force you to say things you don't want to talk about", says Benny. "Dick is a great professional. Did you know that he is in the business for over 12 years now and that he does about 200 interviews each year? In America they adore him! The show we did with him airs on Swedish television this autumn. Other countries, among which Holland, will air the show in the winter". Well ABBA fans, doesn't that look prosperous?
