Fan memories - November 1st, Bremen, Germany 1979
It was 1979 in Bremen, Germany.
The concert hall was sold out (as usual) and it was great. For me, the
gig was over too early - why didn`t they play for hours and hours?????
I was 15 years old and I
can`t even remember, if I`ve been there with my girlfriend or not...
The sound was not as good as on their records, but you could recognize
the songs (lol!).
In the morning a lot of fans
waited at the Park Hotel (Bremen`s best Hotel), so did I!
But we only saw a member of the Band, he asked us:"Where will we
play this evening?", and we showed him the way to the "Stadthalle".
Through the windows we could see Stig Anderson, the manager. And we saw
lots of flowers, brought to the Hotel.
The fans shouted: "We want ABBA!!" - but next morning you could
read in the newspaper, that Björn was jogging in the park around
the hotel...
